The caravan I'm interested in buying requires a vehicle with a kerbweight of at least 1850kg. I've only ever had small to medium vehicles and am relatively new to caravanning so I don't know where to start looking for information on what might be suitable. I don't have a huge budget (perhaps £15k max) but used will do. Can anyone give me some ideas please? Thanks for your help.

Lisa, you are looking at a big car, such as the Volvo940 2.4 TD estate, Audi A6 4.2 SE, BMW X5 Series, 3.0ltr, or one of the big 4X4's. have a look through this site, it lists most kerbweights:

Hi Lisa why not look at Huyundai sante fe or Kia sorento, you could get both around 1 year old within your budget
