Suspension Knock (Holiday on Saturday)!

Hi all

Worringly my 04 reg Mondeo hatchback has just developed a rather annoying knock from the rear suspension when going over bumps I also think it is sitting a little low at the back but this may just be my imagination. Anyway problem is we are going to France in 2 days time which is a round trip of almost 1000miles is it advisable to tow this distance with the problem with the car.

No way would I tow with this car until it was checked out, the added weight of having the van on the back would only increase the risk of an accident, it sounds like you have a broken spring or something, is it worth risking your family and other road users for such an issue, these things always happen at a bad time, but in my book it's better to be safe than sorry

Sounds like part of the coil spring may have broken,ya need to get it in to the garage asap.If it is that its not major to have repaired,the sooner ya get it in there the quicker ya have it back.
