Suziki Grand Vitari 1.9 D versus Nissan Xtrail 2.2 D????

We have seen that for our money, we could just scrape into a brand new Vitari compared with the Nissan where we are looking at a two year old car.

So assuming it is capable of pulling our van (I do not know at the moment) anyone got any comments on how they may compare, or advanatages and disadvantages??

All comments and help appreciated as we are STILL finding it hard to get a used Nissan in the condition we expect, this maybe the answer?
