Need to know kerb weight and nose weight etc to see if this a possible goer...I understand it is a 1.9 diesel compared with the 2.2 on the Xtrail so all comments appreciated.

I see that Martin has already answered some of your questions in your other post. The noseweight limit of the Grand Vitara is 85kg.
 
I was worried you were gonna say that it was less than 100kg! Oh well, I think it will be Xtrail for us, keep coming back to it, so it's gotta be the right choice...here comes another weekend of car hunting!

In answer to your question about kerb weight, the 2002- 2.0 Diesel Grand Vitara (3 dr) has a weight of 1420-1460, this increases when in a 5 door model. The 2006 Grand Vitara only comes in a 5 door model for a diesel at the moment and has a greater weight. Our outfit is around a 90% match but behaves brilliantly. I would reccomend the Vitara as a towcar to anyone.
