Hi Chris,

I picked up my 555 yesterday. I tow with a Nissan X Trail. I towed it form Barrons at York back to Hull. Approx 45 miles. It was not the most challenging journey I have had, the car was fine the outfit was stable and drove well. The info I got from TowSafe was that the van has a nose weight of 102kg. Try a match for cars you are looking at on " whattowcar.com "

Hi Chris,

I forgot to mention a problem I found in my van once I put water in it. Have you noticed how the water waste pipe from your vans kitchen sink is connected to plug hole. I have had a small leak and in my opinion the pipe is two short. It turns immediatley through 90' and goes down tight to the drawer in the cupboard below. It is so tight it stops the drawer from closing properley and pulls the plug hole slighly to one side.

hi steve

why do they make caravans with heavy noseweights when most towcars have noseweights of only 75kgs.I'm thinking about buying the kia sportage, whattowcar says it is an excellent match but there is no mention of noseweight the kia is only 75kgs.

No doubt the standard noseweight is too high! Empty and 90 kgs! Try it for yourself: put in the back of the car some gardenstones of 120 kgs and drive the car around some roundabouts. You'll notice that. So, to decrease that noseweight you have to put more gear to the end of the caravan. I hope this helps, but: the basic design (place of the axle) is wrong of this caravan.
