TAB XL Purchase

Hi There,

I'm currently looking for a used TAB XL caravan, but I'm having trouble finding one. Does anyone know where I can get one? the Tab XL is the twin axle version of the smaller teardrop T@B.

I think you are going to need a lot of luck.

We tow an Eriba Triton, run the Eriba Amiga web-site, and like most things with a bit of style you need to be prepared to look far and wide. So when someone asks me where they can find a used Eriba - then Holland is much more likely as a source than the UK.

Many Eriba owners have bought their (new or pre-owned) Eriba in Holland, saved a fist full of money and had a holiday as well.

Likewise for the Tabbert T@B XL - I work in Rotterdam and checked with the local Eriba and Tabbert dealer in Heinenoord (www.Campoworld.com) and they don't have any pre-owned XL for sale.

OK, next choice is www.marktplaats.nl - which is a free advertisement service in Holland - around 200+ Eriba shown but no T@B XL at all

And looking at the Tabbert factory web-site - the XL has been dropped from the model guide - leaving the original T@B and the T@B Off-Road - so if this is right, then production only lasted a few years and you may have more than a bit of fun finding one.

They're even quite rare on their home ground. The only used one I was able to find in the ads is a 2005 model located in the far north of Germany. Mind you, it seems to be in pristine condition - only used once for 400km. They want 19,000_ for it including awning. If you're really interested, I could check whether it's still available.

I'm sure I saw one on the forecourt of Moorland Leisure in Stoke on Trent beut I don't know whether it was new or used. They used to be Tab dealers but I'm not sure whether they still are.

hi steve we have the caravan you are looking for, it's a 2005 t@b xl twin axle. it in an immaculate condition. also it has a t@b awning which is very rare and has never been used.
