You can look on the good side, and the bad side. One day you could possibly be one yourself, and speaking from experience, when they are all gone, you do miss them.

Luckily for me, my mother-in-law (now passed on and sadly missed) seemed to think I was wonderful. My wife advised me not to seek a second opinion...!

Absolutely not!!

Over the years I have studied very carefully the cunning ways of Mother-in-Lawism. Now I am one, I have done my best to be the best......second thoughts I ought to ask my Son-in-Law what he thinks. Lol :0)

Must be a Herefordshire thing Lord B.

Mine are great too. The old man makes fresh bread for us every other day, will lend you the shirt off his back if it would help.

When we all assemble there are 38 of us, so we make our own parties. At one point we had 6 caravans in the family and on one memorable occassion, we set up camp cow boy style. ( vans circled). This was to the amusement of the rest of the site, who thought they were in the rally field.

Because both in-laws are disabled, we have to setup their van, which is always done first. That way we get plentyfull supply of bacon butty's and mugs of tea while we setup the rest of the troop.

By the way Lord B, you might of known one of my brother-in-laws, he was in your past profession, ex ambulance.(len torode.)

Yes Steve, I knew Len, in fact I remember working with him once at Leominster when I was a relief. He used to do a bit of driver instructing in his spare time then left to set up his own driving school. I only saw him once after that, we were returning to Hereford after transferring a patient to the Orthopaedic Hospital at Oswestry and he was walking, pushing a pram, somewhere around the Leysters turn if my memory serves me right. I'm going back about 30 years so it could have been somewhere else along the A49.

Lisa, that's sad.Forgive me for poking my big Welsh nose in,but as it's Dewi Sant, go on, give her a call!
Hi emmerson

Thanks. I do feel a bit bad as it was my birthday yesterday and she sent me a card. We used to get on quite well. However, due to the nature of the estrangement (if that's the correct word), I'm afraid there will never be a reconcilliation. (If I see you on a site someday, I'll tell you why).
