Thetford C250 Electric Flush

Electric flush has suddenly just stopped working. Press button but nothing happens, not even the noise from the pump. Thetford are providing a replacement switch but would like to know if anybody else suffered the same problem. If so please can you tell me if you found the fault and what rectified it. These things always happen just as you are going on a 2 week holiday!

I presume you have checked the blade fuse under compartment with a test meter. If you have no meter replace fuse anyway as it may look ok to the eye, but this is the most common cause of toilet failure. And yes switches do fail due to corrosion with moisture.

Do you feel the click of switch but no noise,if so the switch panel mey have dislodged as mine did after a bumpy trip across a field to a rally. The sticker lifts off its adhesive with a sharp point and the panel is visible, the sticker is reuseable a few times.

Yes had same problem on my Swift a few months ago. First time fuse blown, second time pump had failed, replaced under warranty.
I guess the fuse blowing was a sign of the forthcoming pump failure.
