I purchased a new caravan in May 2024 and since we've had it the Thetford toilet flush pressure seems to be excessive such that flush fluid collects/pools under the toilet seat/lid, then pools and dribbles down outside the toilet and onto the floor area if not checked/wiped after each use. Has anyone had similar issues and if so how were they resolved?

Thanks

never come across that (in ours it's a manual flush and over enthusiasm can result in the same). buy a cheaper lower rate pump , or drill a hole ( 1mm) in the supply pipe, both of these will require opening up the flush tanks, conversely just press it for shorter amount of time

Previous caravans when new had an Orange insert inside the information wallet which pushed inside the end of the pipe in toilet bowl to prevent water splashing over if to much pressure. This had a smaller hole in it to reduce the flow

Thank you all for your quick replies. I spoke to our caravan dealer who also mentioned the orange flow restrictor so I'll look through our pack and fit if I find it. Our dealer will also fit if not found when our annual service is performed in May. Many thanks again.
