Tolls

Hi folks

Does anyone know what the tolls are from Vierzon to Clemont Ferrand please. Or do you have the name of a web site that I could get this info from. Thanks in advance for any info.

Regards Ron

Ron, I find that the ViaMichelin web site is good and clear, there are others but this one is very user friendly.

Good travelling!

Hi Ron

Like JimF I have used Viamichelin alot and I find them More accurate and clearer routes than both the AA and the RAC. The only problem is that when you ask for a caravan suitable route they do not calculate the extra toll charges for the van.

This site link should give you some accurate info - www.autoroute.france/index

Ron,

Clive's point about the Michelin site not including the additional charges for the caravan is worth stressing - I'm not sure how much you need to add for the caravan but it does add up... the web site address should be: www.autoroute.fr/index

Cheers,

Simon

Use this site, and fill in your details, including the van. www.autoroutes.fr/voyage/itineraires.php?Ing=2 It will do the tolls for most of Europe.

Ron, a caravan cost about 50% more than a car on the autoroutes, but those sections where there is a fixed charge, its the same as a car. Car is class 1, outfit is class 2!

Another site I have come across while planning my trip to Italy, is called 'Mappy.com'.

I have found it even clearer in printed form than the Michelin site.

I'm sure you've cracked it by now but the site that will give you the full cost of the trip is http://www13.mappy.com/

You get full choice of options, eg caravan, diesel, the lot so it costs your fuel as well - and gives you the toll.
