Tow bar fitting to Octavia Vrs Tdi

Having just bought an octavia Vrs TDI i am worried that when i come to have a detachable tow bar fitted the fitter will have to cut into the rear bumper, as this was the case with the leon Fr i had.

Can anyone confirm if the bumper will be cut or not?

Call Tow Equipe, they will have a choice of brands and will advise if the bumper meeds to be cut.

I have a FIXED Brink bracket on my vRS hatch (also had a fixed Brink on my vRS estate). No cut that I can see. Guess a removable Brink would be the same.

VAG group's own tow bar is made by Brink and the current Passat retractable version (Thule model) does not involve cutting the bumper where it is visible.
