Towcar for Swift Charisma 590- Twin Axle

Hello,

I am looking to downsize my car which is a 4 x 4 and which I use to tow our caravan, a Swift Charisma 590. It has a MTPLM of 1660kg. Can anyone give recommendations of a suitable car to tow this van or will I have to downsize the van as well.

2007 on Honda CRV 2.2 CDTi more than capable to handle this, Nissan XTrail diesel again, possible option

Try looking at a Galaxy that should pull it without issues I think.

l am looking at the CRV se or es both have kerb weights of 1660 Kg and 1690 Kg for the ex, would that not be to near 100% match with the Swhift Charisma 590.

l am looking to tow 1490 Kg which should be well within the scope of the CRV.
