Hi Paul.We have the Vectra 1.9 150bhp and can't speak highly enough of it we tow a Coachman Amara 520/4 1500 kilo and have towed with this outfit in excess of 18000 miles both home and abroad and have averaged 29.8 mpg towing. I have over the last 40 years towed with many combinations and find this the best yet I changed to the Vectra from a Discovery TD5 as i was so dissapointed with it, and have no regrets

Chris you will find that the max nose weight on the Vectra is 76kilo I load my van to give 75kilo as near to max as poss and as previously said get a supurb tow as yet have not suffered from any wheelspin in any conditions,I think you will find 90kilo is to heavy for most cars other than 4x4 but just alter your loading a little and you will soon achieve 75kilo I think you will find 90k on your van is the max not a must the car max is the most important and a legal requirement good luckhi stephen
what was the noseweight of the coachman i have just bought a swift and the noseweight is over 90kgs.I also have a vectra 1.9cdti sri 150 ,not happy about the way it tows. The suspension seems low at the back,i enquired about spring assistors but they cannot be fitted to this car.
