Towing in Corsica

We want to take our caravan to Corsica in May, but are not too sure how suitable the roads are for towing. Although there are many sites on the West coast, the roads look steep, narrow and bendy, whilst on the east coast they appear straighter and flatter. Anyone any experience, and any recommendations for good sites?

Hi Tim,

we went to corsica a few years ago before we had a caravan and toured all the right half of the island.The west coast i would say is a definite "NO-NO"" because we were warned about the tight roads and how long it takes to get anywhere and that was with a convertible !The left half is very rugged,the south east very pretty,also the north east is lovely.The east coast is very flat and easy but quite boring in my opinion compared to the rest of the island.If you want beaches etc. i think i would suggest the north, or the south-east.Dave.
