Yes it does. If you use the indicator when turning, the cameras show if there is anything down that side of the car. An additional help to the normal mirrors.

How do you see down the side of the car, without using the indicators. ?
Use the side mirrors or rearward camera?
Confused, I thought you didn't have mirrors.
