Help! We want to upgrade our caravan. We currently tow our 2 berth Compass with a Citroen Xsara Estate 2.0 110hp max. 1100 kerbweight. We have the above imported MPV Toyota (8 seater) and think we might be able to tow a larger van quite well with this - but we cannot find out from anywhere what the kerbweight is for this vehicle for towing.

Is there anyone out there who can help us please?????
 
The trouble with grey imports is that data can be difficult to come by. This applies not only to kerbweight but also maximum permissible towload (which could be lower than you may expect) and/or type approved towbars. Your best bet is to search specialised websites, such as the Toyota Estima Owners Club Forum.
