I think it was the big Westlands that they used to carry mail and supplies to the large tankers rounding the Cape of Good Hope? All the stuff was in a big net underneath the chopper and they never actually landed on the tanker.

The Tanker contract were carried out using Sikorsky S58, Then Court Line helicopters used Sikorsky S61 , an the 1980s The American Navy used Aerospatial Pumas for a long time. Through a private firm.
