Truma water heater etc

At the start of winter as always I drained down the water system,this year it was in my new van fitted with digital controls so now concerned that as the van is left connected to the mains the system may have been trying to heat up an empty water tank,is this likely and if so what harm will have been done

Which Truma do you have the ultrastore of the combi water/ heater,

I think it is the later,the van was new last June and doesnt have a fire just blown air

On my Coachman with the combi, I have to switch the heater or the water back on at the electronic control panel, if the power has been removed,
Hopefully others may know a bit more.

If you have the combi you won't do it any harm as the heater can be used without fresh water in it, same goes for the Alde system
