TV on laptop

Is there any way that one can feed a TV signal into a laptop for viewing? We have Sky in the caravan and would like to watch it on the laptop from time to time.

I watch analogue TV through a special tv adapter. You can route the same device through a digi box I believe so presumably you could through a Sky receiver too.

Take a look at Pinnacle (www.pinnaclesys.com) or Hauppauge (www.hauppauge.co.uk) - they both manufacture a number of USB plug-in products which enable you to watch analogue, DVB-T (i.e. freeview) or satellite TV on a laptop. As far as I am aware, there isn't way to directly connect either a freeview or satellite digibox directly to a PC without buying a TV card or stick. This website has a useful summary of the various options: www.radioandtelly.co.uk/onyourpc.html.
