Dear All,

Hope you are all well.

We'd like some feedback on our first towcar video review please. You can find it by clicking here or you can see it on the site homepage.

Nobody else does genuine towing reviews of towcars on video, so we'd really like to know if there is any other information about the car you'd like to know, whether it is too long or basically any other observations about the short film.

We have five others which are nearly complete and we are starting work on some caravan and accessory video reviews too.

Any feedback would be great, but Motty can't help his slightly nerdy voice so don't be too nasty!

thanks in anticipation

Hi Nigel. I thought it was too short to form any impression of the car, and what little there was concentrated too much on the appearence and interior, rather than, f'rinstance, how easy it was to hitch, view in the mirrors, etc. Good quality though.

The lane change test is very rudimentary. No mention at what speed it was conducted so it is difficult to draw any conclusions of how well it handles or how quickly the car is able to recover from a swerve without input from the driver. Also, no mention of what type of towbar was fitted (was it a factory-fitted detachable one? how easy was it to fit and remove the towball?)
Also, the caravan that it was towing in the test was nowhere near the towing limit so the car wasn't tested anywhere near its full potential so it is impossible to judge how good or bad it is at the limit. It's a bit like judging the performance of a 50 tonne crane by seeing how well it can lift a handful of bricks.
