Hi well after a disaster towing with a discovery i have gone back to normal car's (so to speak) anyway has any one had any experience with the vectra b 2.2 sri saloon it is a 51 plate it pulls very well solo not towed with it yet aqs i only got it today so any comments and experiances would be much appercieted i am towing a 1991 Avondale Grampian max weight 1100kgs thanks

i towed with a y plated 2.2 sri estate for just over a year pulling a bailey ranger 510/4

great on motorways and no probs if i had to drop a gear to get past someone else, bit thirsty and i had to work the gearbox on some hills....

only changed due to needing a diesel engine for work (mileage) and the car's still in the family

also i've got set of the vauxhall vectra towing mirrors sitting in the garage they are the type that slide over the existing mirrors, if your in need of some let me know !!!

Hi yes think i may need some as mine wont fit i have 2 different pairs but alas neither will go on!!! who designed them mirrors?? didnt even think of that!!! if you can let me know what you wantfor them cheers

they are made by vauxhall and designed to fit over the mirror covers of the vectra, which part of the uk are you in ?
 
I`m towing an 1996 Avondale Mayfly which has a max weight of 1100kg with a "B" Vectra 2.0 DTI Hatch, pulls well cruises at 60mph in 5th on motorways and reasonable fuel consumption too. Fitted Cruise Control when i first got it 5 years ago simple enough mod just had to buy a CC type indicator switch all fitted and ready in 15 minutes well worth doing.
