Yes

I have looked at paper work it has a winterhoff WS3000. If the ball has grease on the ball and the hitch has friction plates could this cause a problem
I am not sure it would cause the vibration, but the tow ball should be grease and paint free, clean both the tow ball and hitch with , a degreaser, brake cleaner is good.

Fred Drift is booking in folks, , just that I know. Nothing about DMF's
A DMF could well be responsible for vibrations under load. All I know about the car is that it's a 2012 Nissan X trail and it is manual. So don't rule out a DMF as an option until you know for certain that the car doesn't have one. But by 2012 DMFs were well established fitments in cars, and some petrol and diesels X trails had them.

Go back to basics, if it’s been stood change the tyres and get them balanced, then start to look elsewhere.

The car is a 2012 2.0 diesel x trail, I don't know wot a DMF is so can't say if it has one or not. But I have just taken it to try again with it empty and still the vibration is still there not as bad, I will be changing the tyres this week and going to get the car suspension looked at just to make sure that is all good.
Any other thoughts would be appreciated
Thanks stephan

DMF dual mass flywheel is part of the clutch on a manual gearbox car. Being dual mass they go out of balance as wear takes place causing vibration.
