can anyone help im thinking of buying my mates 52 plate vw passat 2.5 v6 tdi just wondering if it would be ok to tow my van bailey senator 6000 1300 unlaiden 1600 laiden
 
Aidan you need to check the kerb weight of the passat, l have feeling its below 1600 in which case the van would be to heavy, but check first l maybe wrong.

Like NGH says, the kerbweight may be a little low for an ideal combination, but the max. towload of that particular model should be well in excess of 1600kg, so you need to check the data.
