WANT TO GO AWAY IN MY CARAVAN!

Might be best to think of booking your favourite sites before 'the covid gates are unlocked'. If it's anything like last summer then pitches in popular areas will be in short supply. The clubs both have cancellation policies for covid either if you were unwell or if the dates are changed for parts of the UK, so you can book with confidence - in fact I think both will allow forward bookings into 2022!
Being mainly a fair weather caravanner it is always a good winter pastime to decide where to visit and get some sites booked regardless of lockdowns.

Audio, on another thread where doom and gloom was happening on bookings, I have looked around recently, a lot of the favourite sites, Castleton, Etc, are fully booked, the as always you call Friday morning, yes people have pulled out. . We are week day caravanners, lets go now , people, two weeks head is to far for us. Even in France except for winter.
.
There are lots of sites with availability .

Dont count your chickens yet. All this could still go pear shaped. If infections rise again Bozza will put the brakes on.

After the past year it is normal to feel like this, but although it can be difficult to remain positive it is important for our mental health to be this. Hoping that we will soon be able to have 'normal' lives and also be more appreciative of this when it does happen. Take one day at a time and keep to the rules is all we can do and remain optimistic as 'D day' arrives when we can see those we have missed.

Wish I could get away in ours but no luck yet. The CAMH have said that sites in Scotland might open on 4 April, but they will not take bookings in case they are wrong.

Well, you could come to England, it is allowed. Just as beautiful in parts and less midgies. Unless you head for Kielder. πŸ™
