hi went away this weekend in my van( abbi ambassador xl ) great weekend but when we came to use the water the oh put the pipes in our water but came in switched all the switches for the pumps and everything when he went out to sort it as it was coming through very slowly water was leaking through the bottom of the van were the tank is but ther water is not coming from the tank my oh thinks it might be just the pipe does anyone know were and how much this will cost me as i dont want to be paying through the nose for it as i only paid 450 for the van as a starter and i know there is probably damp in it too but its a good van i do need a caravaner to give it a good look over and tell me whats wrong with it, any ideas

The water leak cold be one of several things.
If you are unlucky the boiler might be leaking, this happens when it is not drained down properly for the winter and the water left inside freezes and expands.
If the problem is just the pipe have a look to find out for sure where the water came from. The plastic water pipe might have split or come adrift from the boiler outlet or at the tap end underneath the kitchen cupboard. This would be easy enough to fix for yourselves, replacement water pipe and hose clips are available from most caravan accessory shops.
Another cause of the water leak could be the water filter if you have one fitted. The filter might be causing the leak or the housing might be split.
I'm sorry but unless you can determine exactly where the leak is coming from I can't offer any better advice other than to have a good look to see what the cause is.

I know it is a silly question, but did you check that the drain valve was closed?
