Anybody have one? Any recommendations for a budget set up ? Have seen one on the big river= Vevor 7 in 1 £80 which gets good reviews, also within budget. What are your thoughts?
I bought a La Crosse weather station many years ago - the forecaster simply works on chanes in air pressure and not that good at predicting the weather! - battery consumption is quite high when the outdoor receiver is configured to update the main display - the date/time no longer updates automatically and is a PITA to set after recharging the batteries.
£68.99 direct from the company with free P&P. I can think of better things to spend my money on, as weather is what it is and without too much effort you can suss it out for your location. For forecasting there are apps, or just ask nice Ms Alexa.
I have a Netatmo. There are two units, one inside the other outside. I can see my local weather, internal and external air quality and temperature. There is a weekly forecast and I can view the results of others all over the world.
I can add a wind vane and a rain gauge. But struggle to see the point and they are expencive.
