Weights(Shogun)

Now i have a shogun 1992 J. 2.5 LWB

Now i have looked on the vin plate and have these weights , no idead what they are.

2650kg

5950kg

(1)1100

(2)1650

any ideas, i have a 1060kg caravan and a licence that is after 1997,,, think i need a smaller car unless im wrong

just a guess.

2650=kerb weight

5950=train weight

1100=max unbraked trailer weight

1650= braked trailer weight.

the last two could be front anxle/rear axle weight limit.

some one will know.

2650kg = max. permissible gross vehicle weight

5950kg = max. permissible gross train weight

1100kg = max. permissible front axle load (not the maximum unbraked trailer weight, which can never be more than 750kg)

1650kg = max. permissible rear axle load

In your case the maximum gross train weight will be 2650+1060=3710kg which is over the 3500kg limit for a Category B licence issued after 1st January 1997.

i make that as one guessed correctly, but do i get half a point for my rider re the axle loads?
