Whale water system issued

Has anyone else had the problems with the Whale water system. It has NEVER worked properly on this or our last caravan. The last caravan had several components changed, control unit, circuit boards etc. and it was less than a year old before it was stolen. It’s replacement has had even more problems, new main control panel, new pump, new comms boards, new micro switch, the list seems endless. The problem has left us away in the caravan without any part of the water system working. Whale have stated it is out of warranty and don’t seem to care they just advise a service agent should be contacted. All of theses agents have a 2/3 month waiting. Ever since owning a caravan with a Whale system we have had to cancel many planned holidays due to the constant failures of the Whale equipment. Can anyone suggest how I can get the system working (for more than a few days) and without waiting months or spending a fortune on replacing every item of Whale equipment?

I have a Whale Expanse heater and an Ivan control. I have changed the main control panel, the pump socket, the pump, the non return valve, the micro switch (twice), the controller (twice), the comms board (twice) and have removed the expanse heater, stripped it down and made good every connection before reassembling and reinstalling it. The whole system has need ded hours of labour just to keep it working and on almost every time we have taken the caravan away. The previous caravan was similar but I had a local caravan mobile service agent do most of the work, including changing the main PCB in the heater.

Ah so it's a water heater not a simple water supply system.
Can't help with that I'm afraid.
Good luck with it

having had similar problem when my Ivan panel failed at the beginning of a long EU trip I disconnected the cables at the back of the pump socket and wired in a manual switch for on/off as required.
