The Cost of storage for my van this year was £400, I have just returned from 5 weeks in France only to find that my place has been taken by a blxxdy great motorhome. Not only have the stolen my place but the had the nerve to alter my number plate that I leave in place whilst away. The Site owner was not available, so I parked in the first available space I could find. No doubt the person who uses this place will be as mad as I am, b ut what else can I do.

We just have a numbered block to put the jockey wheel on. I am sure the owners of the site would have no problem contacting anyone who didn't park on the allocated number

I had a similar experience during my first year of using the storage site. However, the owner did explain that sometimes 'emergencies' occurred and he used the first available space, however on bringing it to his attention it was rapidly sorted out. I can appreciate with over 300 vans on the site things can happen. Now we all have numbered spaces and woe betide anyone using the incorrect one.
