What are these for?

These images are of a small bracket,2 of which are located adjacent to the oven one over the other approx 35cm apart.size of brackets are 50mm X 25mm,anyone any idea of what purpose they serve,Thanks

I thought perhaps towels but why two,plus very near to oven door...the panel is due redecorated shortly I'll leave them off,,no intention of doing much cooking on holiday anyway..prefer to try local delicacies such as Cornish pasties,, Cornish clotted çream Cornish pilchards washed down with a St Austell ale or three...(that'll cause some flak)😄
