Hi Jenny & Keith thanks for your reply. In answer to your question my Frontera pulls a treat up any hills with my caravan on the back,it is the 2.2 dti model. So go on you anti Frontera people give us a wave as we going sailing past youHi Andy,
Like you we have a Frontera we love it great small 4x4 we tow a sterling eccles trecker. Only been away once with this outfit and all went well, saying that it was flat ground, we are a bit worried that it might not have the pulling power going up steep hills but we'll have to try it to find out. How do you get on with yours and steep hills?

Hi Christopher, we have Octavia Elegance 140 bhp with DSG gearbox and our filler cap say's 2.2 bar. We tow Coachman Pastiche 460/2Hi.
I am about to take delivery of a bailey 470/4 and have a Octavia TDI and am very pleased with it. I used to tow a folding camper,so towing a caravan is new to me. Could any one advise me what the rear tyre pressures should be on the octavia. The info on the diesel cap says 3.3 which is 48 psi which seems very high to me.
Could anyone please advise
Thanks
Chris
Hi Brian.Found another one ;O)
Hi Phil, sorry can't really help you as I've never measured it, just fill it up when it's empty ;O) As I've said before on the Forum , I probably get better MPG towing than I do solo, gentle acceleration ,braking and sticking to 60 mph helps. It's the 2nd Mav we've had and would recommend them to anyone.Found another one ;O)
