More like really bad timing than being bad. Swelling is down a lot and I am off to see the specialist today to sort it all out

Steve
Sorry to hear about the problems Steve, hope you can still make the journey, is there anything we can do if it becomes a problem?

No, but thanks. I have arranged for the van to be taken to site if I cannot so that the wife and kids can have a break. Its not far from home or the hospital. With a bit of luck, the specialist will work around the dates and either take this off before or after the rally.

Andy, just back from Rivendale a couple of weeks ago, if you havn't been before, make sure you have some rock pegs, if not you can hire from reception for the duration of your stay.

If you need any more info, I will help you if I can.

We will be using a C&CC CS site nr Penrith. Our son and his family (hardy souls) will be camping there. Must admit, as a teacher, with all those lovely school holidays,(that's a joke these days, but that's another story) I tend to book up the main ones pretty quickly, otherwise we wouldn't get away, as obviously I can't go outside of school holidays. My husband struggles to get his holidays for the same time as me, as he does not work in education, and other people in his workplace want school hols off with their families.

I don't know if you've been before Ken but it's a nice site. Although it has no facilities it has a lovely one mile walk alongside the River Wye.

At home the new council tax bill and water bill has arrived apparently, with the increases in electric and gas bills and with the Scots Loony that Mugged us all yesterday, some may not be going quite so far ;-)
