We are off to Riverdart in Ashburton, Devon.

Hope the weather stays good.

Hope you all have a good holiday and have a safe journey, and that there are no major problems with the vans out on their first outings.

Happy motoring, lets us know how Easter went on your return.

Staying home, and leaving all the pitches for you poor working people who can only out at holiday and weekends. Aren't I generous? But I am going to a club rally the week after the holiday.

Same here

Leave the busy holiday weekends to the masses and keep the peacfull times to myself, down here in the west country. (only joking. But this weekend it's the garden, i can think of better things to do. So for all you lucky people who are managing to get away have a great week or weekend, the weather is promising.

Regards

Les

Went out yesterday evening to my club in Port Talbot and won a bottle of whisky in a raffle. Had no intentions of going away this Easter as we are going to Chester after the grand children are back in school. I will therefore be doing a spot of gardening/d.i.y. and then sitting back in the evening on the patio enjoying my whisky and thinking of all you people out there paying top whack for site fees and stuck in traffic for hours. To those who have gone/are going away have a great break.

We were going to Cheshire but cancelled. Didn't fancy all the traffic etc.

I might pop over to see the gang at Sherwood Forest campsite tomorrow night.

Hi Maureen

Cleaning the kitchen floor, oh what glamorous lives we lead!

We put the pool out today for the dogs, it's not taking as long as I thought to fill.

Have a nice weekend too.

Sooo glad we decided to stay at home. The roads are bedlam down here in Devon.

Accident on M5 yesterday (poor caravan) on my way home from work. And just heard from the sainsburys delivery driver that there has been 16 mile tailbacks on the M5 again today and the motorway was shut at Bristol. I hope everyone was ok.

We've been relaxing in the garden with the dog and the chickens....lovely and warm, BBQs being lit around us!

We decided to miss the bank holiday madness too. I work in a school so luckily get all the school holidays (yes, you workers can hate me now!), so we were away on monday and came home today. Had the caravan park all to ourselves all week except for one other van last night. It was fantastic. So peaceful. Plenty of room for my toddler to run about and play. Just when we were heading home today the park was rapidly filling up with the usual parade of teenagers, dogs, bicycles, footballs etc. The peace and tranquility was definitely gone by then!!

Yes Have to work over the Easter period, nevermind off to Somerset next week-end for a couple of weeks, really looking forward to that, so don't mind working over Easter, at least roads will be quiet, hopefully. Liz

Time for an Easter Song, for those at home, this Easter.

Easter Bonnet

In your Easter bonnet with all the frills upon it,

You'll be the grandest lady in the Easter Parade.

I'll be all in clover, and when they look you over

I'll be the proudest fellow in the Easter Parade.

On the Avenue, Fifth Avenue,

The photographers will snap us

And you'll find that you're in the rotogravure.

Oh, I could write a sonnet about your Easter bonnet

And of the girl I'm taking to the Easter Parade.

In my Easter bonnet with all the frills upon it,

I'll be the grandest lady in the Easter Parade.

You'll be all in clover, and when they look me over

You'll be the proudest fellow in the Easter Parade.

On the Avenue, Fifth Avenue,

The photographers will snap us

And you'll find that you're in the rotogravure.

Oh, you may write a sonnet about my Easter bonnet

And of the girl you're taking to the Easter Parade.

Hi Cris, actually very quite here, couple of tents, about 12 tourers in total, most of them regulars, so they all know what I am like, as for hubby and daughter, they gave up on me years ago. Quite on here tonight, nevermind I am looking forward to going away cannot wait. Liz

Hiya all,

We've done the same thing; left the bank holidays to the workers. However, we are taking the grandchildren to Hawes CC club site on Tuesday for a few days. I don't think they realise it's not the seaside and that they will be walking up a mountain (small hill) and seeing waterfalls. They will kill me if it rains.
