Whats the best one to fit the alko 3004 hitch? Also's own lock looks quick & simple to fit but is it the best deterent to thieves? I'd prefer the best security, even if it takes longer to fit.
Any lock endorsed by 'Sold Secure' should be a starting point. To be honest though a profesional thief will have it whipped off in the blink of an eye whatever you buy.
We have the Saracen hitchlock, which is now recommended by Towsure as being beyond "gold sold secure". It is very robust and being bright orange you can clearly see it. I think it would be very difficult to remove, but as the saying goes "If they want your caravan" then they will stop at nothing.
