Failing that we may have to ask his Royal Wooiseness to go for more grub and ale at the Black Bull.

Task duly noted.......... now where shall i start :eek:hmy:

Wasnt there talk of going for a meal if there was a problem getting a room or was I a bit 'befuddled' cos thats a nice menu
Spot on if I remember. That was and is the contingency plan. As we are meeting far earlier this year the before I am sure we will be having some extra terrestrial BBQs and supping Sir Aleman and Sir GagaKevs brews :cheer:

Not a general one yet, but each new King is presented with a banner proclaiming their name and T shirts with names were originally printed.

See T shirts and banners here.

You can match up Woosies with their names at the Woosiefest.

There is usually a quiz as well. Sir DD is our Quizmaster. The order of succession is also announced and our new Monarch crowned. And there is drinking....did we mention the drinking.

A woosie has won a set of Milencos in the April PCv mag.
According to what I read the lucky Woosie was a blonde seven year old enjoying a caravan holiday.
It must be in the blood!"

Only just seen it this am, Dusty. I published picture on here a week or two ago. E mailed by PC magazine if they could use it. Never dreamt there could be a prize in it. However all contributions gratefully received! Here's the picture for those that didn't see it originally.

No, not a rally just a commercial site, vans (sited) owned by family in our village and hired out. Taxi (60 miles) to and from site, didn't have cars in those days. Could count on one hand nearly number of cars in the village in those days. Coincidence actually, but married granddaughter of the owners! The caravans were actually wrecked and lost in the east coast floods of 1953 and not alot of insurance around in those days!

Thought you'd like to know that 'the Young Pretender' (Rhiannon) finally has a date for her knee op, to replace her Anterior Cruciate Ligament and stitch up her torn Meniscus; all done whilst playing football. It didn't do a lot for our excursions last year, and we had to postpone our trip to France this year as we didn't have a date.
Roll on 21 March and several months of recovery. Hopefully she'll have a lot less pain and a lot more fun on this years holidays.

Hope all goes well for her Claire.
Kicking dad probably didn't help.
Now if she is still convalescencing in September you may still get to the Woosiefest.
Best wishes Rhiannon

Thanks, Dusty and Gafferbill, I will pass on the sentiments. Looking forward to her being pain free and able to walk in time for her June prom and bridesmaid for a friend in July!

Given the thread about banners and flags, are we allowed our banners at the Woosiefest site?

Also what is this years Woosiefest to be dubbed? Pickalot? Bullalot? Northalot? ??
