Heading off to North Devon this morning for 5 days. A bit chilly but at least I know my heater works properly. Will also check the damp readings just to confirm all ok. Fingers crossed :)

Should have added -- "at least it did last time we used it"! (Sod's law and all that!)

Right Woosies (or for anyone else for that matter.) Just a little guessing game to test the Woosie grey matter at this 'quiet time' of the year. Received a parcel this morning (unexpectedly, well not this big anyway!) measuring 12½" x 16" x 7", guess what was in it? Cost of the item & packaging was:-
Item Cost £1. 60, - Postage and packaging £4.25 - Total £5.85

If it is from Amazon, the contents will be much smaller than the box I'll guess a gas bottle spanner.

Hi Fellow Woosie's, thought I would pop in and say hello...............................HELLO

Well things in Gagaland have kept me busy for a while, ladygaga is between jobs, I cant commit to any of the suggested fest's yet as I dont know where or what I will be doing, been very busy sussing a few things out employment wise, but the good news is things are looking up so will keep you informed.

You probably read/heard on the news we were invaded by the Met Police in our home town, the guy arrested recently regarding the London tube terrorist thing, lived approx 75 meters from my daughter's place, place was in total shut down, luckily she was out but couldnt get back home to rescue Pete she was worried sick until I reminded her he was only a hamster and would be OK.

So decided to slum it last weekend and stayed two nights in a hotel in Cardiff, got a refund for the second night as we couldnt sleep the damm air conditioning fan/heater would not switch off.............now i know why we have a caravan.
So on the way home decided to call into Highbridge Caravans and have a look at the new Swift Sprite EB
End Island bed with midship bathroom etc with a door each side to get to the bed..... NOT for us tooo compact!

So lastly we decided to look at an Adria, Ladygaga enters first and heads to the rear bathroom, i walk towards the side island bed when we started to rock, well crash really the steadys were not down, I had a great time see sawing in there, Ladygaga was bricking it

Oh and lastly our son has announced his marriage date, next April :cheer: :cheer: B) B)

Hutch, now that Lavenders in Penzance have gone then the best pasties are the bakery in Marazion.

Kev, we used to have loads of bomb scares and the like when the IRA trials were on. Our house was on the route from the prison to the courts so we even had armed police at the end of the drive. Don't think I'll ever forget that period of my childhood.

I've heard about this rocking caravan syndrome, just never seems to happen when we're in the van

Glad to hear the employment options are possibly looking up and congratulations on the wedding, and having a boy. I think the girls can have the awning in the back garden for a reception and we'll get the cadac on the go for catering.
