Excellent.
Hopefully our Keeper of The Records will start a new list asap :)
Spring is fine with us too.
Maybe some non Woosies like Pitpony may wish to join in :cheer:

Dusty,
That's very civil of you thanks for the invite, but first of all do I not have to be initiated in to the Woosie lodge by having to empty a certain piece of caravan equipment for the good folk on the rally or some other worthwhile task, which does not include buying beer for everyone ;)

Pitpony, I managed to get away from buying the beer, but will have to supply the wine for Parksy on the next meet up.
Have you ever messed up whilst either going to , coming back from , or whilst on site,
IE. two of us on the way to the last Woosie fest, had our jockey wheels drop down.

Woosie Membership

If anyone wishes to become a Knight or Dame of the Woosie [strike]Club[/strike] Round Table please tell us some of your silly stories or pet dislikes about getting your hands dirty caravanning. No need to be lavatorial. Examples are:

Anyone who is scared of silly things like spiders, etc
Anyone who finds normal everyday chores repulsive
Anyone with initials/name that we find suitable
Anyone who runs around after their better half which is unnecessary
Anyone who gives silly remarks to others on this forum
Those who won’t sleep in their awning
Those who waste electricity heating the awning at 2kw just to keep the dog warm
Those who want a Chinese take-away delivered to their caravan door
A hot water bottle in the caravan with Alde central heating
Don't like getting muddy
Complain to the Wardens about the weather
Driven off with the jockey wheel still down or the rear steadies not wound up
Unhitched the van and driven away thereby breaking the breakaway cable
Used the toilet for 1s and 2s but forgotten to add the chemicals
Left SWMBO behind
Dropped the Thetford filler cap down the disposal point hole
Used the Thetford before the waste tank has been installed

You need to publicly declare your indiscretions and you will be proposed and seconded for membership. It will then be up to our King/Queen to bestow a knighthood on you, after choosing a suitable name.

WC, I thought a few of my I desrepencies were accepted,
Trying to use a motor mover with the caravan steadys down,
Dropping your glasses in the Thetford.
Blocking the exit from an aire, onto a French motorway, by unable to turn a corner.
Forgetting the legs to the Cadac,
Getting to Dover for a months French touring, and realising you have left your wallet at home, 260 mile round trip.
Thats enough for now. Normally I am ok.
Hutch.

Looking good!
Looks like your first suggestions have hit the button Bill.
Both are in easy reach for Crazy Guider too.
Once we have 10 caravans for Riverside or before mid December I'll open negotiations if that's ok with you Bill.

Obviously the spring would be a no go for us but we're fingers crossed for the Woosiefest in the Autumn. As soon as we have dates, Jen can change days off and we'll poodle down Friday to Saturday.

Not sure what we can do yet. We are booked up for Whitsun week, plus The Young Pretender will have A level mocks in June. We are also going away for Easter. Autumn meet looks possible for a weekend though as both places are within our range.

We're in Bill . Any time in September or October.
Where do you reckon the best pitches are
for a sat signal?

riverside_zpsdjp5dhne.jpg

..........this is a satellite view which is what's available but over 6 years out of date........ there have been changes.
The green area is now a bar / restaurant with various rooms off for events etc
The pink area is now statics.
The best pitches are in the red area and a satellite signal will be fine.
The yellow building is the toilet / washing complex.

NHS chair here at last, all really good except........ no charger, wrong leg rests, no heel straps for foot plates and no cushion. Luckily hd a spare cushion in the shed for now and the technician got a spare charger so partially up and running. Feeling quite positive about it all overall.

Sounds like the stories you hear when taking delivery of a new caravan.......not that I would know anything about new caravans you understand
.....I'm sure you will soon have it sorted

Just back from the Pub with the dogs, 3c and getting colder, thinking of the run up to Hull tomorrow, to pick up the van, wake Martin up for a cup of coffee about 9.30, and get the van after that. And back to RMK, ( Rural Milton Keynes).
Enjoy Your Highness. :)
Hutch
