 After our talk , think aboutnchanging as well, . Don't like the new Coachmans. Get mine repaired and maybe change. But I like this one, see it through to end of warranty.

Me thinks at the moment when you listen to all the gripes about all makes, that if you've got a good one keep it, look after it and it'll last years and if you've got a bad un then change.

Just recieved a phone call this morning from Wayne at DLR in Newark, who I was doing the warranty claim through, and Coachman want my van back to the factory for repair, so I am happy about that.
I get to keep the nice van we like and a full warranty repair. Heh ho life is good, at least for today.

Not sure yet waiting for a call from Coachman, Hull is only 3 hours tow so I don't mind, but Wayne at DLR in Newark has been great, hopefully be out in the van before Christmas.

A better solution to go back to the factory. Lets hope they get it right this time! You will I'm afraid have to empty everything except the curtains. It will probably be collected and delivered via DLR. Coachman won't expect you to make that kind of journey. If you do make the trip though depending on when, you are more than welcome to make use of our spare room (Bailey on the drive), especially if only going to be a week or less. No point in going back n forth. We took ours in and out but that's only 15 mins. Good luck with it all.

Not necessarily. :( The person who repairs it may be the person who built it in the first place! Our van had its front panel replaced earlier this year under warranty, but by a dealer who has a body shop. With the amount of sealant they used it shouldn't have any leaks around the front windows or joints. ;)

You were correct the first time Martin, DLR Direct Lesuire Repairs in Newark on Trent. . The motor mover hex shaft that cracked on return from France gets replaced under warranty , Thursday. So will start to empty the caravan then. So maybe getbsome of the house decorated whilst waiting for the van to be repaired.

Recieved a letter today from, Trevor@ coachman.co.uk. to say then will collect my van from Marquise, Northampton
It's only an 1/2 hour tow to there.
So unfortunatly, Martin an J. Will not take you up on the Bailey overnight, "This time". . Hopefully get out again before Xmass. .
Ok first this Year. MERRY Christmas and Happy New Year to all Woosies

We were talking about a spring meet up, A new forum member,m Pitpony , has mentioned this place, on a different thread, Dusty D . Might be worth a look at fairly central.

Bit costly but with your negotiating skills. ???

DD, I did see the past posts but probably did not sink into the grey matter, having never done, until power unit blew up, , off hook up and dont want too, this place does hookups on the rally field.
We are more than happy with Wallingford, etc.

Yes it is.

Stratford Caravans is the parent company as it is a huge site.
They have statics, pods as well as the infamous rally field which is huge.
The suggestion was to hold the September 2017 Woosie meet on the touring site which has full facilities and full use of the resturant/bar complex (stilted flood proof building)

Just a suggestion at the moment...........

We have stayed on Riverside in fact earlier this year, it caters for many rallies and you can use the facilities, recently a new club house was built right next to the river, you are about a twenty-five minute walk from Startford and in the village of Tiddington just up the road you can catch the bus in to town, also there is a village pub, spar shop and a couple of take aways, anyone who likes fishing can fish the river which runs through the site, :)
the first shots in the promotion dvd are of the new club house,
