Can the haggi eat all the midges BEFORE we get there?

The Haggi diet is set by our evolution, we can only consume and digest (safely) midges in wintertime, that is when we can consume every last one of the hatching wee [strike]bas [/strike]rascals.

The exception is that (outwith winter) in very windy conditions we may consume them at any time of year.

So Join us in Gael force winds or in the depths of winter and I can ensure your safety and happiness and luxury and the most memorable and happy visit to the Land of the Haggi.

All Knights and Ladies of the Woosie fraternity are welcome (I expect to be overwhelmed with requests for invitation), and all will be accommodated.

The Haggi extend this invitation to all at Practical Caravan (there may be a smallvery largish administration fee for non Woosies (we have to uphold our Scots reputation  )

Regards to all, and looking forward to your company ( and pre-paid booking fees :p )

Your ever generous Anseo.

By King Woosie's command I carried out the initiation rites, should have emptied the cassette before hand, it was a bit heavy to hold it steady while the local press photographers recorded the event for posterity.

The neighbours and their kids must have really enjoyed the spectacle, they are all smiling and I can hear lots of hysterical laughter too, the event must have put them in the party mood :cheer:

And the wife, well I guess the occasion must have overwhelmed her emotions, she just cannot speak  and keeps shaking her head, and she seems to have gone all shy, she won't remove a towel she wrapped around her head, bless her.

You will all be glad to know that Sir Haggis has had a great day. B)

Please can somebody refresh my memory - what dates are the 2 meets planned for this year? Mat is keen to do Stratford, and depending on the May meet not clashing with kids' birthdays' (they are 15 days apart!) I might persuade him to that as well... B)

Hello Parksy,

I'm sure once Jen gets on to it all will be well. I did follow everything to the letter last time but as usual with me I failed. Just a hopeless incompetent Woosie.

If that fails I'll bring the laptop for someone to attack my profile in September. :)

Thank you for keeping trying though!!

Claire
this up your street and a very easy drive from Bath.
I' m arriving on 28th April and leaving on 5th May. Others are coming a day later or leaving earlier or later. Very much upto you. But we will all be on site over the main weekend.
I' m currently awaiting a special Woosie rate from the site owners in next 24 hours.

Thanks DD. Sadly that falls right between the 2 birthdays, 23/4 and 8/5, plus we will only just got back from our Easter trip to Wales. Hopefully we can do Stratford in the autumn, though.

Sadly, daughter will also be at work on the Saturday, and as we take her to the local p&r as our bus service is non existent, she is dependent on us until she is let loose in a motor ve-hickel, at which point we will head for the hills!
Hoping to come in September though as bus service is supposed to be improving, hahaha!

Has anyone else noticed the changing succession of glamorous photos that our Parksy is using as an Avatar. I reckon he has done a photo shoot for a calendar.

I had to change the Christmassy photo because it was 12th night and the replacement was taken last August at a CS in Ramsey Cambs. B)
You should have gone to SpecSavers if you think that the photos are glamorous
Maybe the Woosies could do a calendar?
I can imagine King Baldrick wearing a big smile, a pair of pink marigolds and a strategically placed bottle of bog cleaner :woohoo:

You beat me to it Parksy,

I was just pondering a Woosie calendar, choose a charity (me for example) and sell through the forum and PC Facebook and magazine. :silly:
