Some might have said that I was in great shape a couple of years ago though, don't forget that 'round' is still a shape :woohoo:

She was too cold waiting for you by the emptying point so she put her frock back on and cleared off

Talking of inflated things  I had to have a new tyre on the car yesterday. :( The tyre had only done 7,000 miles but the nail was just outside the permitted 70% flat tread region and it pointed towards the side wall inside. Unfortunately it is an uncommon size as well. As the full sized spare had the same tyre as the running wheels I had them put that tyre on the punctured wheel and a new tyre on the spare. Oh the joys of motoring and inflated prices.

Thanks Martin, had lots of decorating done, reclaimed two bedrooms from the Kids, had friends over from Switzerland, and a couple of weeks down with Man Flu. Thinking of going to Morten in Marsh , CC site next week, or 4 days, just to relax.

WC I had the same, new tyre less than 1000 miles scrapped, but when it happens to a 1/3 or half worn tyre it throws the complete tyre replacment out of sync. Might get the summer out of my Hankooks, still originals, then going for Nexian weather proof. , good write ups.
maybe off to Morten in Marsh next week. Geting house fever.

Still waiting for J's half term hols to be approved and then we can actually get a site booked. Going to use some of those vouchers at last and stay on a club site. Certainly ready for a break.

I remember 2010 going through 6 tyres in two months. Nails from a local estate where the contractors were re roofing the council houses. I suppose now in hindsight I should have kept the nails and tyres and put in a claim to the council.

Your Royal Highness King Gafferbill, it is with regret that Ladygaga and myself will have to decline the offer of your spring Woosie meet. :(

We have the wedding on the 29th and we are then committed to family duties thereafter for a few days whilst the happy couple disappear on honeymoon.

We have however planned to allow for the Sept one, dates permitting.

Have a good time everyone.

Thats a shame, you can't make Wallingford, I can see where your coming from. I think your Prostrating to His Highness, Gaffer Bill is comendable, but your previous reason stated a few months ago, of probably being over the limit to drive, is more realistic.
Have a good Wedding,

Has anyone booked into Bridge Villa yet, think I will do it this week.
Hutch.

That is a shame but you know my views on marriage.......family comes first.

However remember nothing is cast in stone at the moment........so far the meet is a suggestion on my part.
Sir Dustydog as chief negotiator, is in the process of contacting the campsite and finalising the booking details.
I am not sure how this will go as I have seen reports that the owners are not too keen on groups but does allow some. They apparently decide on each individual case.
It is possible we may have to think again.......a different venue .......a different date

As there are only 6 or 7 units for the spring meet then we could book individually and the owners wouldn't know any difference. We probably wouldn't be next to each other, but we do have the 'secret' signs to put in our front windows. ;)

Your Most Ingracious Humbleness King Woosie

Those Wardens at Bridge Villa Camping & Caravan Park have ignored two of my electronic letters begging substantial discounts for us surfs.
Me thinks part of the problem is they don't open until 1st February .
I will take a drive over there after the 1st.
Maybe we should all just book independently to avoid disappointment :)
I await your Royal edict :cheer:

We would be happy to go even without a discount, after all it's a Woosie Meet, as opposed to A Woosie Fest. Or am I wrong again.

.........I am happy to stick with the plan where you work your magic.
Lets see what occurs after they open on February 1st...... there will still be 3 months to book independently if needed.
