Kev said --- our Royal Highness King Gafferbill, it is with regret that Ladygaga and myself will have to decline the offer of your spring Woosie meet.

As a Woosie -- sorry you won't be with us in May , but pleased for you(as a family man, - main consideration) that you have put family and happy occasions first, good luck with your 'baby sitting' . You'll need holiday after it! It'll be easier than looking after Woosies!

Just sorting some 'pictures' out for another project, came across this one in one of our early albums from 40 years ago. Fairly basic start! (And they didn't look very happy about it either. I must have refused them an ice cream or something!)

It looks like you just told them that the horse was not included in the hire deal , and that they would be pulling the cart.

And you forgot to buy them an ice cream too............. :silly: :p

Quote -- "I think Peter must have fed the horse the wrong type of hay and the horse is at the Vets !" ------- Finally sussed the long faces out --- You're supposed to have a horse? No wonder they had aches!

Apologies for changing things around but unfortunately we won't now be able to join the Woosie Wallifest at the end of April. :(
The choir that I sing with are hoping to embark on a trip to New York in 2018 (if the Donald lets us in :S ) and as a self funding choir we accept bookings throughout the year to swell the coffers which will help the choir to help to fund the NY visit.
April / May this year are particularly busy with weddings and corporate events, unfortunately I have only recently had a copy of the confirmed performance dates and we have four events over that Bank Holiday week.
It's a shame because we like the look of Wallingford and will probably go there with the caravan when time allows.
I'll do my very best to be at the Woosie meet in September instead :)

Hi all, sorry not been on here lately, we are reclaiming the dining room...it hasn't been decorated since Rhiannon was a nipper!
Looks like we will definately be at Stratford, but not Wallingford.
We have just had good news that Rhiannon has made a full recovery from her knee op, so she's hoping to return to gymnastics in the near future.
I was just looking at Parksy's pic...have you become a male model?
Ladies, have you seen the furore on other caravanning FB pages about the nightwear from Sainsburys, featuring caravans? Mine arrived today!
I will make more of an effort to keep up with the Woosie thread. Take care all.

Good luck , with the Choir Parksey,
At last we have reclaimed youngest sons bedroom, just before Christmas, and have now moved eldest sons drum kit and music gear into that and have reclaimed eldest sons room as a guest room, just finished decorating our room, waiting for new carpet on next Monday, new bed arrives Tuesday and then we can move back into our bedroom. Then hopefully we can get out in the caravan. Its been on static display, since end of October, have to do a refresher course on how everything works.
Looks like there might just be 5 vans at Wallingford.

It appears reclaiming dining rooms is a qualifying entrance to the Woosie Club for 2017 :p

We reclaimed our dining room 3 weeks ago. About 16 years ago we had a massive conservatory built, as big as roolz would allow, that we used as a 'room in the garden' with a dining suite out there that we used year round with a ceramic heater also used in the old MH. On arrival of our daughter the then dining room became a play room and junk room as it gradually filled with toys never to be used again!! :p

We reclaimed the dining room with just the table and chairs and a corner unit, a lovely bright and uncluttered space that we have since used for dinner every night, no more sitting on a couch with tray on laps. Meals feel so much better.

The conservatory has been remodelled as 'girlie den' for our daughter with 3 piece suite, tv on wall, games console etc.

Next on the list is reclaim the 'office/study' that has become a dumping ground for more junk.

I'm intrigued. Pyjamas with caravan pattern, what is the basis for the furore?

I can only think it sends a message that the wearer wants to be 'pulled', but I'm probably way off the mark :)

Ahhhhhhhhh Shuuuuucks!!!!!!!........never mind.

Probably safer as we are all taking a risk as John Nettles seems to investigate a lot of murders in the locality. ;)

Midsomer Murders

Agatha Christie

Haha, no, no pulling! It's just that a member of one of the caravanning FB groups bought a set of pj's with the print on, and it all snowballed from there really. Just wondered if any woosie ladies had seen them?
