Am here some of this week - http://www.old-brick-kilns.co.uk/ , - on cl attached to site, beautiful fully serviced pitches, rest of site nice too, (have a look at video ) Reckon it would make good 'Woosiefest' venue? Had meal in restaurant/bar Saturday night very good. (Thoughts?)

Old_Brick_Kiln.jpg

Only ever been to Norfolk once before...........and the first night was spent with a GHOST!!! I kid you not :eek:hmy:
Went on a training course to the National Construction College in Kings Lynn, once the Royal Air force airfield in world war one.
The room was fully double glazed with windows shut, that didnt stop the curtains blowing up in the air,
My coffee mug was on the bedside cabinet when I went to bed,,,Nope it was on the dressing table on the other side of the room in the morning, :eek:hmy:
The room smelt of burning rubber and there was constant banging from the ceiling above!!!!
Went to the office in the morning and said I wanted a room change or I'm off, there reply,
Oh you must have spent the night in room N0 1 with the pilot that was killed in the 1st world war!!!!!!!
They knew it was haunted and thinking about it afterwards think they did it just for laughs :(

King Gab does this qualify as my annual renewal to the Woosie's???

Well they say “the sun shines on the righteous”, certainly right here in Norfolk! Sat in glorious sunshine @ 18° on another contender site for Woosiefest 2018. -- Site is here - http://www.kl-cc.co.uk/
Used the site 2005 for a rally, certainly changed and developed since then. But nice, still.
2017-10-12_001.jpg

We are in what’s called The Rally Field, but there are 8 hard standings + grass pitches and 16amp hook ups to all pitches, and full other facilities. Rest of the site is now almost full of seasonal pitches. Separated by high hedges from rally field.
A nice plus is that there is use of a room for group use etc in the field. very nice it is too:-

Site is very handy for super markets etc but not the handiest for a PH (mileish). Site is a bit further away from seaside than Brick Kiln, but better roads approaching it, but more travelling to see more of N. Norfolk. The choice is yours Woosies. -- Me/Us we like both and would be happy at either. If we had to express a preference it would be for brick Kiln, -- a bit nearer more places of interest, and the restaurant/bar on site tips it for us. But it’s your choice Woosies. Will be back in the area next month when we are down for Thursford Christmas spectacular
(http://www.thursford.com/christmas-spectacular.aspx ) and can sort/provisionally book then.

Pete,
Many thanks for all your efforts so far. You are living up to our expectations for the Greaser Woosie King :cheer: :cheer:
This site looks ok for a few days but a few things would stop us staying long. They charge for dogs and awnings which is £ 5.00 a day for us. Only have 10 amp EHU. Prefer the Old Kiln.
That said what about the Lincolnshire coast area?
Keep up the god work

Sir Crying I think you are correct, we are not on The Kings list. Maybe the Scribe of records could update The New King.
