Let us know if you manage a special offer and we will, book a serviced pitch as well. Looking forwards to meeting up again.
And let’s have a rest from FC and let our hair down

Maybe Maybe not, :p dogs had a good walk to the pub this afternoon, rewarded with a bag of Porky scratchings.

I have made a diary entry for the fest, really hope nothing gets in the way, it's a little too far off to make a definite booking, but (provisionally) I intend to be there, Norfolk isn't too far relatively speaking, early start and have time left in order to get plastered organised before the aperitifs are served.

Hey you Woosies. Unless my map is wrong it’s not Norfolk :woohoo:
But for Sir Haggis it’s easier. Lincolnshire :cheer: :cheer:

Thank you DD, I suppose getting the wrong county 'wrong' is only to be expected for woosie-fest meetings :p .

I have never been to Norfolk or Lincolnshire, with my navigation skills I will most likely visit both, I think I would enjoy seeing a little of both anyhows,

All I need to do now is work out the ferry routes and schedules, nothing slow about me ?.

I fear I may have damaged my credentials as a Woosie by making a pretty perfect job of reversing onto the pitch last Saturday when the motor mover had packed up.

Cheers for that your Kingliness.

Around 330 miles from home to destination, would be making a 7am start, I'll hitch up the night before I leave, hopefully do the trip in 8.5 hours including for a lunch break.

Anyone know of any good places to pull in with the caravan just south of Penrith area?

Avoiding expensive M/way services, there are some good lay bys and road side mobile cafes in them along the A66 plenty of pull ins for caravans, we generally use them. (and I'm not a Scot!)

Now that is a nice gesture :), I won't spoil your fun by using the motor mover.

No peeping through curtains though, just form a guffawing cheering crowd beside the pitch.

Tebay services south of Penrith are good for a stop. A good standard of food too. They have just opened a pair near to Gloucester much to chagrin of Moto et al.
