Hopefully we will see the full erection of the Lightpole at this Woosiefest.

Think I will pass on that Mel.

On second thoughts, that could be illuminating.
I will be erecting the lightpole to show the way home to Woosies who have partaken during the festivities

I second Sir DDs post. Would be great to see you. There is usually a quiz and a meal, and alcohol, and a laugh and alcohol.
Hope you can make it.

Sir GrizzlyBathplug has a quite a ring to it ........ :cheer:

.........perhaps you could confess to some ridiculous humorous story involving a self inflicted caravan related disaster to King Gabsgrandad. to prove you are a true Woosie.

I am sure he would be only too pleased to welcome you to the fold as a Woosie Knight.

........or just turn up as you wish and yes you would be very welcome :) .

Thank you Gafferbill.
As yet not had a caravan disaster, as this is our first foray into the unknown.
Hopefully we don't get any disasters, and look forward to meeting you all in September.

Grizzly, I wish you many miles of touring without a disaster, but they come in many ways, from your jockey wheel being wound down by the Caravan Sprite, whilst your going up the M1, or even loosing your specs down the Honey bucket, A Woosie Knight or Lady can be enrolled for all sorts of silly reasons. :p

Is everyone OK?

Any Woosies out and about over Easter? We are taking the two oldest grandsons away for a week from Easter Monday. Although there is a rumour of snow.

Hi Mel, we went out last weekend to Houghton Mills in Huntingdonshire, we try not to go out over Bank holidays as the places are overcrowded and too expensive, we would rather leave the pitches free for the others to get away. Probably go out the Weekend afterwards.

Hi Mel,

So far this year my planned trips have been cancelled, My January trip was cancelled as I took pleurisy on Christmas eve, my Easter break is now cancelled as I took pneumonia a few days ago.

But the good news is that I have plenty of planning time

Don't let the snow put you off ! It's just only white stuff as you will see in the back of the Caravan Club Magazine this month , my little'n has had his picture printed ( tail lights section at back ) when we went up to check ours out before we went away for a bit in the snow ! !

Off to Wheathill Shropshire next Wednesday. Caravan on drive being spring cleaned and fully warmed up. :)

We are booked for Wheathill. Its our first visit there. Have you been to the site before and is it a nice site. Our previous experience of the Tranquil Sites has always been positive.

Wheathill or in Woosie terms ‘Wheatalot’ is a past Woosiefest venue. We were there shortly after they opened. Lee and Sue keep the place immaculate. The fully serviced pitches, including brown waste, 16 amp EHU, and excellent dog walk fields make the stay so comfortable with views of Shropshire’s aonb. They have extended the park to 50 pitches this year. The dog shower is a god send.
The bonus is the pub next door, the three horseshoes, which serves very good food and beer. There are new owners this year who I believe are maintaining the same standard.
We are arriving next Thursday now due to issues with my mum in Devon. Look out for two Springers and that’s me :woohoo:

Not on your Nellie !!!!!
First time in years havent taken grandson away for Easter :(
The Rain master is now afraid of the RAIN, I'm waiting for some of that orange thing in the sky.
But on a happier note for grandson, daughter and hubby to be have just bought themselves a Suncamp trailer tent so he will be away soon.
