To be fair some parts of this website are updated regularly by PCv staff. John Motton has posted his review of the latest Honda CR-V in the last couple of days and JP regularly adds articles about gadgets, modern technology and the internet and we are lucky to have Suzanne Asquith's amusing and highly readable blogs appearing fairly regularly.
It's not always all about the forum, some FB users wouldn't consider joining a forum anyway, and now that the antagonistic keyboard warriors of old have departed perhaps the PCv staff feel that we are ok to be trusted not to need constant supervision these days.
Thanks to all of you who use and regularly and loyally contribute to Practical Caravan Forum this forum is at last the enjoyable, friendly helpful forum that it was always meant to be.

Goodness me Lady Di Di,
2013 diary already?
No one told me it was the bank holiday! LOL.

Ah well I'll buy a 2013 calendar ASAP so I can note the next PCv Rally and Woosie meet.

I think next years Woosies should meet somewhere in the Peak District . What do you think?

Just looked at Facebook. Via PCv t shirts at £17.99 seem pretty expensive to me.

Dustydog, King of The Woosie Round Table - When a King is not a King does he become a Sir or a Lord??

Or will we have up to 4 Kings, like a pack of cards? Do we hold a ballet for the Jokers??

Although we are trying to work around it, we may have an issue as I have been recently informed that in the same I have to undergo some minor surgery on my back and will feel uncomfortable for a few days which will make caravanning a bit difficult. I will find out tomorrow if the date can be moved, but I doubt it has I have bene waiting for a couple of months for a date.

The balance is paid on arrival Mel, and we are staying from Thursday until Monday
Hope that you will still be able to make it to Poston Surfer, good luck with the surgery.
If there is going to be a ballet I think that Kev should be principal boy, I can just imagine him doing a pas de deux with Dustydog in the Nutcracker Suite

Parksy, you have got to use your power as Lightpole Man to make that happen!! Sounds like Jacobs table entertainment is sorted.
Kev, DD I have some spare pairs of rolled up socks
smiley-embarassed.gif
should you require them.

According to my notes we all have to pay on or before the 1st of October.

Mel

We arrive on the thursday , I think , and go home Monday or Tuesday? Left the calendar at home.

I used to be envious of Rudolf Nuryev's lumps but feel I outclass him these days.

Sir WC

I shall regress to a simple and humble Sir Dustydog .

Sir Gagakev will simply become King Gagakev irrespective of whether he cross dresses is garb that Mel may provide.
So the Nutcracker Suite it is.

If we can get our star turn to imbibe enough alcohol I'm sure that they can be peruaded to don tights but there's no way that I'm helping them to strategically place the rolled up socks

We were under the impression that the balance had to be paid one month prior to arrival but Herself noticed that on the receipt for the deposit this only applied to hire properties e.g. static caravans and just for Bank Holidays in the case of tourers.
She spoke to Poston who confirmed that the balance in our case can be paid on arrival

When I arranged Poston it was stated that you can pay the balance on arrival BUT it would be preferable to pay before so as not to clog up the entrance, then when I rang to confirm they said Pay by October 1st

I dunno Kev, I'm sure that the dance has to be part of the Coronation ceremony at the Woosie Table of Jacob and takes place with the outgoing Monarch and the incoming Monarch performing the rolled up sock ballet in tights for the (dubious) benefit of their loyal subjects.
It would certainly test their loyalty to the utmost and they could be asked to donate socks as a form of tythe.
Whomsoever ended up with the bestest erm, sock count would have proven his poularity amongst his subjects.

How about
King W C Gagakev Bar? The choice is yours my Liege to be.

Perks wise you will have freedom to utilise your personal Thetford Royal Throne whenever you so wish.
You will also have the honour of representing the Woosies at meetings with the PCv Board and be expected to entertain Lord Hezza from time to time.

You will also be recognised as our expert meteorologist and rainmaker.
