The Barge alongside the canal is very dog friendly too, and they have a good outside BBQ too on some days ( weather dependent)

Glad you've had the OK onwards & upwards.
We walked the canal up to Devizes, then I was dragged around the town,
got a taxi back!! Then had a snooze.
Made it to the Three Magpies though, very nice.

I done the walk/ hill climb up the canal, hoped for the tour of the Brewery, but it was closed.
Hoping to get down your way in a month or two, I will give you a call, when we know.

No probs Hutch, was thinking about popping up but Thurs I have hospital appointment, Friday Mags has hair booked and Monday Im at dentist, dont know how I find time to work !!!

Big changes with wadworths as the brewery has moved out of town to a brand new facility that enables them to brew smaller quantities of craft beers to increase their range of offerings. Sadly the shire horses and dray are now out for retirement. It’s not viable to bring the beers in to town for deliveries given the distance from the new brewery. C’est la vie
