I use 2 bicycle type cable locks.
1 goes through the battery handle and the handle on top of the motor.
2nd goes through the 1st and around whatever is convenient to secure it to. On site that's normally the caravan wheel.
Same idea for us, It's really just a visual deterrent, if the tow rags want something they will have it away. Claim on insurance for a new one.

Back home after a very pleasant week at Pont Kemys.
Some further notes:
Sunday Lunch at the Chainbridge Inn is very good and very popular. If you are thinking of doing this; book ahead.
TV reception at the site is poor if you only use your caravan aerial. We hadn’t taken our long arial cable to put into the ehu bollard but they had a box full in reception and happily loaned us one.
Food waste: They recycle food waste ( as well as the usual recycling). We were given a biodegradable bag on arrival for this purpose. You might want to take a couple more. Some people just scraped food straight into the bin but as the adults only bit is at the further end of the site, a bag is handy.
Electricity: This is metered. At the start of your stay you are given a card preloaded with a certain amount. We had £60 on ours. You don’t pay anything at this point. You tap the card against the meter on the bollard and the money is transferred to the meter which then counts down as you use electricity. At the end of your stay you tap the card against the meter again and the balance on the meter is transferred back to the card. You then pay for however much you have used at Reception.
We are fairly frugal with electricity and were out quite a bit, however we used electricity for everything except cooking. We only had the heating on a few times as it was mild and put the hot water on when we needed it. We only spent £2 a day!! 😲.
The only downside with the site is that there is no public transport that we could see. This may ( or may not) be tricky for the Darksiders but I am sure that between us we can sort out lifts when needed.
DD is going soon and will be reporting back, I’m sure.
