I know that this is a bit of a "how long is a piece of string question", but we are looking at touring Europe and the UK in a Mitsubishi Warrior with a 4/6 berth caravan for a period of 12 to 24 months. Has anyone else done anything like this and could you give me any idea of the sort of costs and any advice. Many thanks in anticipation.

COSTS

Ferry crossing - once, unless you want to return to UK

Fuel - Prices vary depending in which country you are. Diesel is usually cheaper then Petrol abroad.

Sites - Cheaper off season and when you stay for long periods. Say
