Like the looks of Zafira Club (2001 - 2004)

Lots of conflicting info re suitablity of Zafira.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Try doing a Forum search with "zafira", there are a number of posts regarding its suitability as a towcar.

The Zafira is not very highly rated, you should avoid the diesel model (very low max tow weight) and the 1.6 petrol. The 1.8 petrol would do the job. Unless you really have to have one (i.e you need the extra 2 small rear seats), you would probably be better to look at something else.
