We tow a 2006 Bailey Ranger 550/6 with a fiat Multipla JTD. No problems whatsoever. The only limitations are the kerb weight of the Multipla is only 1370kg and the max tow weight is 1300kg. The Rangers MTPM is 1296kg so we are towing at about 95% but have had no problems. The advantages of the multipla is the width (you hardly need towing mirrors) and the fact that the wheels are almost in each corner which makes it very stable. We have the 115bhp version which is adaquate and only struggles on long inclines, although that is what gear boxes are for, changing down doesnt bother me. Plus being a six seater, and the fact there are only 4 of us, there is tons of room.
